I think it’s part of a bigger trend we’ve seen in social media and also the automobile industry. A decade ago, BMWs looked differently from Mercedes that looked differently from Audis. Good luck telling them apart now.
The same has happened with Instagram aka Facebook. They all got stories to imitate Snapchat and now Reels to imitate tik tok. I get their point but at the same time I don’t. What happened to standing out and providing USPs?
