This. One surefire way to increase your confidence is to set yourself small goals that are just a little bit outside of your comfort zone and then achieving them. Over time, you will learn that you have the skills and abilities to do what you set out to. Your whole perception of yourself and your identity changes. To quote Greg Plitt:

Weakness leaves, pride comes in. Confidence grows. Successful life.

By the way, I loved that you quoted Marcus Aurelius. Stoic philosophy is not only filled with incredible wisdom, but with a lot of practical advice.

Also, I think no. 3, not judging others, is on point as well. After all, confidence isn’t walking into a room thinking you’re better than everyone, it’s walking in and not having to compare yourself to anyone at all.
