This reminds me of a story I heard a while ago.
An elderly couple, married for many decades, was asked how they managed to stay together for that long. There answer was something along the lines of because we come from a generation in which you would fix something when it’s broken, not toss it and buy something new.
With the sheer endless possibilities we have nowadays, it is easy to jump from one thing to the next if stuff does not work out. However, commitment breeds its own unique kind of success, satisfaction and fulfilment.
